5/16" REAR SECTION

The thickness of Anvil's body shell increases at the rear of the body.
Benefits
In all end dump trailers the wear of the body's shell is more rapid near the rear or dumping end of the body, so increased body
thickness in this area of the Anvil extends the life of the trailer's body.
The standard body thickness is 1/4" and we increase the rear section thickness to 5/16" AR400 steel. Standard trailer sections
are 8' in length.
NOTE: The rear section thickness is somewhat subjective. Some models of trailers like Ranco's Competitor model end dump trailer
is built with a 1/4" body throughout. On the other hand we have brought in trailers that have been entirely 5/16" construction
and even 3/8" construction. However all of these trailers are specialized and are noted as such.
